I wonder as well, and am always wondering about the true meaning of love and its mysterious depths and extents. Sometimes I feel as if I understand it, but deep down, I honestly don't. Some people tell me love is when you'd jump in front of someone and take a bullet for them, but I wouldn't. Some people tell me love is God, but I don't know him to be certain. Some people tell me it's life, but it has too many downsides for me to be sure.
love /lʌv/ [luhv] noun, verb, loved, lov⋅ing.
noun 1. a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. 2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend. 3. sexual passion or desire. 4. a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart. 5. (used in direct address as a term of endearment, affection, or the like): Would you like to see a movie, love? 6. a love affair; an intensely amorous incident; amour. 7. copulation. 8. (initial capital letter) a personification of sexual affection, as Eros or Cupid. 9. affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one's neighbor. 10. strong predilection, enthusiasm, or liking for anything: her love of books. 11. the object or thing so liked. 12. the benevolent affection of God for His creatures, or the reverent affection due from them to God.
I think they all have a corelation with each other, some element in all that remains the same. Some thread weaving that web we call 'Love' that relates all its meanings and us human beings to each other in some shape or form, controvesial or not. Though one definition might be completely and utterly different from another, they are all connected and are the same in essense. And so are we all, connected.

Nice. Very thoughtful, philosophical, and deep. It's nice to give meaning to something you don't understand, and also to ask questions at the same time. The day we stop asking questions about the universe around us is the day we stop being human.
